Initial Consultation
To begin your home buying journey, we would like to schedule a brief 30-minute consultation to discuss your priorities and timeline. This can be done through a phone call, in-person meeting, or even email, depending on your preference. During this consultation, we can provide you with an overview of the buying process, discuss different areas of the city, and answer any questions you may have.
Introduction to Lenders
If you haven't already spoken with a lender, we recommend starting the conversation as soon as possible. Obtaining a pre-approval letter from a lender is essential to making an offer on a home. Even if you're not ready to make an offer yet, a pre-approval letter will help us determine your price range by showing you the monthly payments for different price points. We have partnered with many lenders to make this process easier.
Personalized Property Searches
We will set up customized and targeted property searches based on your specific needs and the areas you're interested in. We have years of experience using the MLS to create personalized searches for each neighborhood you want to explore. This will help you easily organize your search and find the homes that match your criteria.
Select your favorites
We'll provide you with a client portal where you can save your favorite homes, keep track of possibilities, and discard properties that don't meet your needs. You can even add notes to each property to remember what you liked about them. If you're buying with a partner or family, this portal allows you to share your thoughts on different properties and areas easily.
Tour the Properties
We understand that everyone moves at their own pace, so we're happy to move as quickly or slowly as you prefer. For your initial appointments, we recommend spending 2-4 hours looking at homes. This will help us narrow down your location preferences. Once you have identified the neighborhoods you want to target, we can view homes as soon as they hit the market or spend more time looking at multiple homes in one outing.
Moving Forward With a Purchase
When you're ready to move forward with a purchase, we will guide you through the traditional home buying process. We understand that relocating can present unique challenges, particularly when it comes to purchasing remotely, and we're here to help you through every step of the process.
